The Solution: A Compact, Heavy-Duty Planetary Gearbox
One example of this approach is the development of a compact planetary gearbox designed for agricultural applications where limited installation space, low noise, and long-term reliability are critical.
The gearbox features:

- First reduction stage with polymer planetary gears to minimise noise levels
- Hardened steel gears combined with aluminium flanges for an optimal balance of strength and weight
- NiCr steel output shaft with dual ball-bearing support for improved stability under load
- Long-life permanent lubrication designed to operate across a wide temperature range
Compatibility with DC, brushless, and stepper motors also enables the development of customised transmission systems that integrate seamlessly into customers' agricultural machinery and equipment.
