Environmental Commitment and Sustainability
Environmental sustainability is a key pillar of our business strategy. We are constantly working to reduce our environmental footprint through responsible industrial practices and concrete projects:
- Reducing plastic use – We have launched a plan to limit the use of disposable plastics both internally and in logistics, reducing waste and promoting more sustainable solutions.
- Partnership with 3Bee – We have adopted a beehive and planted a forest to contribute to biodiversity protection and the restoration of natural ecosystems.
- EcoVadis Certification (2024) & Sustainability Report (2025) – In 2024, we started the EcoVadis certification process, an internationally recognized assessment of corporate sustainability. By 2025, we will publish our first Sustainability Report, a key step in measuring and improving our environmental and social impact.
- ISO 14001 Certification Target by 2026 – We are working towards obtaining ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management, further strengthening our commitment to responsible and sustainable production.
Supporting Medical Research and Prevention
We believe in the value of research and prevention to improve health and well-being. That’s why we support two important awareness and fundraising initiatives for medical research:
- The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride – We take part in this global event, which raises funds for male cancer research and mental health support, backing the Movember Foundation.
- WelfareCare – We are proud partners of this initiative, which promotes women’s cancer prevention through awareness campaigns and free screening programs.
Our connection to the local area has always been one of our strengths. That’s why we actively support initiatives that promote inclusion, mobility, and social well-being, such as Polisportiva Trezzano (sports association which encourages team spirit and a healthy lifestyle among young people), Comune di Buccinasco & PMG – Mobilità Garantita (a project which provides transportation for the elderly and people with disabilities, improving their independence and quality of life), and Tom & Gerry (Buccinasco Animal Shelter).
